A documentary about the effects of an oil spill and subsequent restoration efforts on
Devil's Slide Rock, a sea stack just south of San Francisco. To save the local breeding grounds of
the Common Murre, an ocean-diving seabird, biologists turned to innovative restoration techniques,
which included the use of decoys, mirrors and audio recordings. Sponsored by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife
Service, the video was broadcast on Chronicle Broadcasting and on select PBS stations.
